BC CLOSES REGULAR SEASON BY HOSTING CLEMSON
• Boston College wraps up the 2015-16 regular season by hosting Clemson on Saturday at 12 noon.
• The game will be televised by RSN/NESN and can be heard on the radio on WEEI 850 AM and bceagles.com.
• Boston College has lost all 17 conference matchups so far, most recently losing at the buzzer at NC State on Wednesday night, 73-72.
• Clemson has lost its last three outings, including a 64-57 setback against #4/4 Virginia on Tuesday.
• The Tigers are just 2-8 on the road this season.
• Clemson won the first meeting between the teams back on February 17 in Greenville, 65-54.
LAST TIME vs. CLEMSON
• Senior Dennis Clifford finished with 17 points and eight rebounds as Boston College lost at Clemson on February 17, 65-54.
• He was 8-for-12 from the field.
• Freshman Sammy Barnes-Thompkins scored 14 points off the bench.
• Clemson started the game with an 11-2 run in the first four minutes.
• Boston College responded with eight unanswered points which sparked a 19-8 run. That gave the Eagles a 21-19 lead with 7:12 left in the half. There were six different point scorers in that span of 8:27.
• BC took a 34-31 lead into halftime.
• Boston College was up, 43-42, then Clemson scored seven unanswered points to take a 49-43 lead with 10:51 left.
• After graduate student Eli Carter hit three free throws, the Tigers scored the next seven to build a 58-48 lead with 6:15 to go.
ROBINSON, TURNER RETURN AT NC STATE
• Freshmen Jerome Robinson and A.J. Turner both missed time recently to injuries.
• Robinson fractured his wrist late in the game against Florida State on January 26 and missed nine games.
• Turner sprained his ankle against North Carolina on February 9 and missed five games.
• The duo both returned at NC State on Wednesday with Robinson getting a start.
• The two combined for 24 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
• Robinson recorded 13 points, six rebounds and four assists while Turner notched 11 points, four boards and two helpers.
