Eagles Sweep ACC Weekly Honors

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College women's lacrosse has swept ACC weekly honors for the third time this season, according to a release by the league Monday afternoon. Senior attacker Covie Stanwick garners Offensive Player of the Week while junior defender Molly Erdle picks up Defensive Player of the Week.
Stanwick led the Eagles with six points on five goals and one assist in BC's 17-9 win over Boston University on Saturday, May 2. The Baltimore, Maryland native's 74 points lead the Maroon & Gold. Stanwick has tallied at least four points in 11 of the Eagles' 18 games this season.
Erdle picks up her first ever ACC weekly accolade after recording a team-high three ground balls against the Terriers. On top of winning defensive battles on Saturday, the Lone Tree, Colorado native tallied her second goal of the season on a free position shot.
The Eagles are back in action in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, May 10 at 1 p.m. at the Newton Lacrosse Field.
