Lacrosse Faces No. 2 Seed Stanford in ACC Quarterfinals

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- Boston College lacrosse faces No. 2 seed Stanford at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in the quarterfinal round of the ACC Women's Lacrosse Championship in Charlotte on ACC Network.Â

Because of her season-high .667 save percentage and eight stops in the 7-4 win over Syracuse, Dolce was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time of the year. The senior stopped seven shots in the second half to help secure a ninth straight win in the series. On three different occasions, Dolce stopped a shot with BC leading by one, while making a timely save late in the contest to help seal the win. Dolce is third in the ACC with 125 saves, second in saves per game (8.3), and fourth in save percentage (.442). Her 621 saves lead all goalies in the ACC and are third among active career leaders.
