Lacrosse Earns NCAA Tournament Berth

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Eagles are going dancing. Boston College lacrosse will face Yale in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday at 4 p.m. at Stony Brook, as the bracket was announced Sunday evening.
All first- and second-round games will stream on ESPN+. The winner of Friday's matchup will advance to the second round on Sunday at noon to face the winner of No. 5 seed Stony Brook and Stonehill.
Boston College enters the tournament with a 9-7 record, while Yale is 13-4. The two programs met in the postseason last year, when the Eagles earned an 18-11 quarterfinal victory.
The Eagles are making their 13th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and have enjoyed sustained postseason success, advancing to eight straight NCAA semifinals and seven of the last eight national championships.
