Sophomore goaltender Zoe Ochoa came up with seven saves to complete the Eagles’ victory

TURNING POINT

After back and forth goals in the second half, the Eagles were finally able to pull away in the final two minutes of the game.
Tess Chandler and Stanwick notched empty-netters with 1:24 and :22 on the clock to give BC the final push it needed to surmount UVM.

HOW IT HAPPENED

UVM jumped out to a 2-0 lead, putting the Eagles in a hole early
Boston College responded with a three goal run to take its first lead of the game
The Catamounts battled back to regain their two-goal lead
After an Eagle timeout, Tess Chandler and Kate Weeks netted goals to send the teams into halftime tied at 5-5
Chandler came out of the half hot, putting away two early goals to give the Eagles a 7-5 lead
After back-and-forth scoring, the teams found their third tie of the game (8-8) with 21:49 to play
Boston College put away two empty-netters in the final minutes to seal its third victory of the year, 13-10
