Boston College defeated Hartford, 62-28, at Conte Forum on Wednesday night. Emilee Daley led BC with 14 points and nine rebounds while Kelly Hughes pitched in with 11 points and eight boards. BC improved to 7-1 while Hartford dropped to 4-4.

- BC won the battle of the boards, 55-28. The Eagles also had a 21 team assists.
- Boston College put together a 12-0 run from the end of the first quarter and five minutes into the second half. The Eagles held Hartford to just four points in the second quarter to take the, 31-12, lead.
- Fouls and turnovers stalled the Boston College offense in the first quarter. The Eagles didn't score a basket until the 2:20 mark when Nicole Boudreau hit a layup on a backdoor lay-up. Kailey Edwards hit two foul shots to tie the game, 5-5, with less than two minutes to play. Nicole Boudreau's long three gave BC a 10-8 lead with 21 seconds left. She then grabbed the defensive rebound which led to a backdoor layup by Alexa Coulombe for a 12-8 lead after one quarter.
- Kelly Hughes opened the scoring in the second quarter for a 14-8 lead. Hughes hoop led to a 7-0 run which gave BC a 19-8 lead with 7:14 to play. Mikayla Delcastegne broke the Eagles run with a jumper at 6:51. The Eagles offense responded with a 10-point run, four from Emilee Daley. BC took a, 31-12, lead at the half after holding Hartford to just four points in the second quarter.
- The Eagles offense stalled to start the second half until Katie Quandt hit a half-hook, BC 33, Hartford 14. At the first media timeout, BC held a 39-16 lead after a lay-up by Quandt. The lead ballooned to 44-20 off a three by Emilee Daley with 2:17 to play. The Eagles lead after three was, 46-20.
- BC's offense struggled to start the final 10 minutes. Turnovers plagued the Eagles all night. The offense managed a nine-point run capped off by a nice pass from Daley to Quandt for a 57-25 lead with 1:57 to play in the game.
- The starting lineup of Ella Awobajo, Mariella Fasoula, Martina Mosetti, Nicole Boudreau and Kelly Hughes will be starting their fourth consecutive game.
- The Eagles shot 46 percent from the floor in the half while Hartford shot 18 percent. BC finished the game shooting 45.6 percent from the floor while holding Hartford to just 12-for-59 (20.3%).
- At the half, Boston College had, 26-11, rebounding edge at the half. The Eagles finished with a season-high 55 rebounds.
- Sophomore Katie Quandt chipped in with eight points and seven boards coming off the bench. The Eagles bench out-scored Hartford's, 38-14.
- The last time BC held a team to under 30 points was an, 85-29, win over Longwood on Jan. 22, 2006.
