BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Freshman Mariella Fasoula led BC with 11 points and five boards, while sophomore center Katie Quandt added 10 points and six rebounds.
- R-junior Kailey Edwards had nine points and four rebounds off the bench.
- The Eagles shot 55.8 percent from the floor while coming up with 10 steals.
- The Eagles defense held New Hampshire to just eight points in the second quarter. period. BC's outscored UNH, 24-8.
- BC held a one point lead after one quarter, 16-15. The game was tied four times in the period.
- In the second quarter BC pulled away as the Eagles came up with four steals and the offense was jump-started by an Emilee Daley three. The long three by Daley started a 10-0 run in the first three minutes. With 4:19 to play in the quarter, Kelly Hughes stole the ball and went the length of the floor for two, and the Eagles lead was 15 points. BC took a 40-23 lead at the half, as 20 of those points were scored in the paint.
- Marti Mosetti opened the third quarter with a jumper and the lead went to 18 points. With a little over three minutes to play, Kailey Edwards sunk a three – Eagles 53, UNH 31.
- New Hampshire battled to get back in the game but cut it to 15 with a little over six minutes to play in the third quarter. The Eagles matched UNH basket for basket the rest of the way for the win.
- Boston College started Mariella Fasoula, Martina Mosetti, Nicole Boudreau, Kelly Hughes for the fourth consecutive game. Senior Alexa Coulombe earned her first start of the season. She finished with six points and three assists.
- BC hit a season-low three from the three-point arc. This was also the first game since Jan. 8, 2015 that Kelly Hughes did not hit a three-pointer.
- The Eagles made a season-high 29 field goals and shot a season-high 55.8 percent from the floor.
- Boston College went 10-for-11 from the foul line as a team while the Eagles had 10 steals for the third time this season.
- The team had 18 assists. Four players – Alexa Coulombe, Nicole Boudreau, Martina Mosetti and Stephanie Jones – had three assists apiece.
