WEDNESDAY'S HEADLINES
- BC looks to be the first league team to win 10 Hockey East games this season
- BC features nine players ranked in the nation's top 51 spots in points per game, most of any team in the country
- Kristyn Capizzano is in the midst of an eight-game point streak during which she's recorded 10 points (2g, 8a)
- Dana Trivigno has at least one point in each of the last five games, recording 9 points in that span
- After Wednesday's game, the Eagles will play their next six games on the road, returning home on Jan. 18
BC AGAINST PROVIDENCE
- Wednesday's game will be the first of three scheduled regular-season meetings between the teams ... the squads will meet again the final weekend of regular-season play: Friday, Feb. 19 in Chestnut Hill, and Saturday, Feb. 20 in Providence
- Boston College is 26-35-3 all-time against Providence since elevating to Division I status for the 1995-95 season

HOME COOKING COMING LESS FREQUENTLY
After Wednesday's game against Providence, the Eagles will not play a home game until Jan. 18 ... BC started the season with 11 of their first 16 games at home ... after Wednesday, BC will play 13 of 18 on the road ... during the upcoming six-game road streak, the team does have a month off between Dec. 10 (at Syracuse) and Jan. 9 (at Boston University).

- Nine (9) players are ranked in the top 51 in points per game, the most of any school in the country
- Three (3) players are ranked in the top 20 in goals per game: Alex Carpenter (1.27), Haley Skarupa (0.67) and Makenna Newkirk (0.60), tied for most in the country with Minnesota
- Eight (8) players are ranked in the top 39 in assists per game, and 11 are ranked among the top 71 spots
