Freshman Q&A: Jake Palomaki

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College freshman infielders Jake Palomaki led his high school, Mount Paran Christian, to a 29-5 overall record, going 20-0 in region and falling in the state finals as a senior. He led the team with a .443 batting average and 52 runs while tallying a .556 on-base percentage, 43 hits, 18 RBIs, seven doubles and three home runs that year as a two-time captain. Palomaki was a four-time all-region honoree and earned the team MVP award as a senior.
The Kennesaw, Ga., native spoke to Amanda Irvine about what it meant to go to a state championship, leadership and some of his favorite things.
