TURNING POINT
Boston College went on a 10-2 run early in the second half to build a 47-34 lead with 13:25 remaining.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half was tight the entire way as Boston College held the largest lead with six points.
- A 7-2 Eagle run increased their lead to 18-12 with 9:27 left in the half. Senior Lauren Engeln scored five of the points and capped the spurt with a 3-pointer.
- BC maintained that lead into halftime as it led, 31-26, after the first 20 minutes.
- The Eagles made their push early in the second half when a 10-2 run over four minutes gave them a 47-34 lead at the 13:25 mark. Hughes capped the run with a 3-pointer.
- BC led, 56-48, with 4:43 left, but New Hampshire went on a 7-2 run to cut the deficit to 58-55 with 1:25 left.
- The Eagles converted on all six of their foul shots down the stretch to seal the win.
