CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College will become the focal point of college football this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. when it hosts Florida State in a crucial ACC matchup. Prior to the game, ESPN's popular pregame show, College GameDay, will air live from the Campus Green beginning at 10 a.m.
Fans are encouraged to "Gold-Out" Florida State on Saturday and support the fight against cancer at the same time. Gold "Beat Cancer" T-shirts can be purchased online by clicking the link above.

"You can tell there is something a little bit different (with GameDay in town)," senior captain Mike McLaughlin said. "The whole stadium picks up a little bit. You can feel it in the air. It's tough to describe, but you really can. You can tell. It's big time. It's big time football. This is what you sign up for. You can definitely feel it on Saturday, no question about that."
Boston College will hope to end the away team's winning streak in the series since joining the ACC in 2005. The visiting team has won each of the last four contests.
The Eagles are coming off of a dramatic 27-24 overtime win against Wake Forest last weekend, sealing the win on a fumble recovery inside the five-yard line after hitting a field goal during its possession. Florida State lost to South Florida at home, 17-7, a week after trouncing then-No. 7 BYU in Utah, 54-28.
"I think they are an excellent football team," McLaughlin said. "There's no question they're going to be coming in here like gangbusters. We've seen that in the past; especially in the spotlight with College GameDay coming and coming off of a loss to South Florida. We're going to get their best and their best is very, very good. Their best is the best in college football. We're going to have to match that and even take it a step further."
