Women's Lacrosse Defeats Lehigh 11-10

West Palm Springs, FL - The Boston College women's lacrosse team defeated Lehigh University 11-10 in Florida on Sunday night to remain undefeated.
Both Lehigh and the Eagles were undefeated at 2-0 on the season entering the game.
BC led 7-3 at the half on the strength of three goals from Lauren Costello, two from Kristin Igoe, and tallies from Jill Rekart and Maura Mahoney.
The Eagles were holding a 10-4 lead in the second before Lehigh stormed back to tie the game on six consecutive tallies.
Senior Jenna McCabe tallied the tie breaker and eventual game winner with just over five minutes to play.
Lehigh had a chance to send the game into overtime with five seconds remaining but goalkeeper Katie Monaghan made the save to preserve the BC victory.
The Eagles continue their stay in Florida and face Fairfield on Wednesday March 4 at 3 p.m.
