Thirteen high-school standouts - eight pitchers and five position players -have signed national letters of intent to play baseball, according to an announcement made by head coach Mik Aoki. All 13 players will enroll at BC in September 2007 and begin play during the 2008 season.
"I am extremely excited about our recruiting class," Aoki said. "We filled our needs with talented players who are also outstanding student-athletes. We expect each will contribute a great deal to the future of Boston College baseball. In order to compete for ACC championships and be an NCAA regional team, it is important to recruit high-level athletes who are also a good fit for BC. I am confident that we succeeded in achieving this goal."
