Baseball Contest With St. John's Postponed

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College and St. John's will have to wait until Monday to conclude their three-game series, as Sunday's contest has been postponed due to poor weather conditions in the Chestnut Hill area. The final game will be played at 3 p.m. at Shea Field.
The Eagles (24-16, 13-6 BIG EAST) are coming off a doubleheader sweep against the Red Storm (22-19, 9-10 BIG EAST) on Saturday afternoon, 4-3 and 8-2. Boston College will be looking for its first ever sweep against St. John's and its fifth sweep against a BIG EAST opponent in 2002.
Boston College freshman pitcher Kevin Shepard (3-2) will take on St. John's senior Brian Dorsey (5-2) on Monday afternoon.
