In the nightcap, BC needed 10 innings to top the Red Storm. St. John's posted another first-inning run, but BC answered in the fourth as Jen Asbury knocked out her second homerun of the year.
In the top of the 10th frame, Summer Jarratt kicked off the inning with a single and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Blumfield reached second on an error and Jarratt came home for the winning run. Blumfield scored the insurance run on an Asbury single up the gap in the middle.
Malandris earned her second win of the day by retiring the side in the bottom of the 10th. She struck out the final batter looking to earn the victory.
