As A Junior (2013-2014):Ryan was a consistently strong performer for the Eagles' diving team this season... Herron took second in the one-meter dive against both Providence and Boston University...He took third in the three-meter dive against Maine, Williams and at the NECI... Ryan also took third place in the one-meter dive against Williams and Keene St.
BEFORE BC: Attended JEB Stuart High School in Falls Church, Virginia ... Lettered all four years and was named dive MVP the last three years ... Was a named a captain for the 2010-11 season ... Holds the school record for 6-dive competition as well as the 15-18 year old boys record at Sleepy Hollow Bath & Racquet club ... Graduated with a full International Baccalaureate diploma.
PERSONAL: Ryan is from Falls Church, Virginia. He is the son of Johanna and Neil Herron. He has one sister, Hannah (14), who plays field hockey and lacrosse in high school. In addition to diving, Ryan also was a baseball player in high school. He received four varsity letters and was named as a 1st team All District player twice.
