Shaw arrived at the Heights after serving as a graduate assistant for two seasons with the Bentley softball program.
Prior to Bentley, Shaw graduated from Fordham University in 2018 with a degree in communications.
While at Fordham, she was a middle infielder for the softball team. She finished her career at Fordham second in on base percentage (.449) and slugging percentage (.646) and third in career batting average (.342). She finished third all-time in RBIs (157) and fourth in home runs (39). She also holds the program record for both single-season RBIs (74) and multi-RBI games (21).
Shaw helped the Rams to four NCAA Tournament appearances and was named a NFCA First Team All-Region in 2017, and made the second team in 2016.
A native of Raynham, Mass., Shaw graduated from Bridgewater-Raynham High School in 2014. She led the Trojans to their first Division 1 state championship in her senior season with a .537 batting average and 20 RBIs.
Shaw, who earned her master’s degree from Bentley in May of 2020, has previous coaching experience with the Mass Drifters Softball 18U Navy team.
