ZACHARY MICHAEL SANFORD; shoots left...attended Washington Capitals development camp in July 2013 and July 2014... played the 2013-14 season with Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League...attended Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15): Played in all 38 games … scored 24 points – logged seven goals and 17 assists; accrued nine points – three goals and six assists – in 22 Hockey East outings … finished as a +10 on the season; was +7 in Hockey East action … registered four multi-point performances … posted a five-game point streak from Jan. 2 to Jan. 16 … tied for fourth on the team with 17 helpers … tallied his first-career points at Boston College in playmaker fashion, doling out three assists against RIT (10/18) … scored his first-career goal at Michigan State (11/14) … netted his second goal of the season at New Hampshire (12/5) ... notched a pair of assists in a victory at Dartmouth (1/3) … recorded his first-career game-winner along with an assist and a career-best six shots against Providence (1/30)… recorded his first-career two-goal performance in game one of the HEA quarterfinals against Vermont (3/13) … assisted in the NCAA East Regional outing against Denver (3/29).
