IAN JAMES McCOSHEN; born August 5, 1995…shoots left…played the 2012-13 season with the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League…participated in the Florida Panthers development camp in July 2013…graduated from Waterloo West High School.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Played in 35 games … missed one game in early January while representing Team USA at the World Junior Championship … tabbed Hockey East All-Star Honorable Mention … posted 16 points – scored six goals and 10 assists; recorded 10 points – four goals and six assists – in 20 Hockey East games … tied for second-best plus/minus rating on the team with +14; was +8 in Hockey East action … led the team with 64 blocked shots … registered Boston College’s first power play goal of the season against RIT (Oct. 18) … scored his first game-winning goal of the season against Michigan (12/13) … doled out a pair of assists, on each 5 x 3 power play goal, at Boston University (1/16) … recorded his first-career two-goal performance, including his second power play goal of the season, against Vermont (2/14) … scored his second game-winning goal of the season and extended his point streak to a career-best four games at Notre Dame (2/27).
