Hagens, Letourneau Recognized by the New England Hockey Writers

The sophomore duo earn New England recognition
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College sophomore duo James Hagens and Dean Letourneau were recognized by the New England Hockey Writers on Tuesday afternoon.
Hagens was named a New England All-Star along with being named the Herb Gallagher Best Forward. Letourneau received the Paul Hines Most Improved Player Award.
Hagens led the Eagles and Hockey East in scoring with 47 points on 23 goals and 24 assists. The Hauppauge, New York native was named a Hobey Baker Top 10 Finalist following the conclusion of the regular season, picking up Hockey East First Team All-Star honors along the way.
Letourneau ended the 2025-26 campaign second in Hockey East in both points (39) and goals (22). The sophomore earned Hockey East Third Team All-Star honors after posting 12 goals and 10 assists in league play.
