BRADLEY JAMES BARONE; born December 2, 1990 ... catches left ... played the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons with the South Shore Kings of the Eastern Junior Hockey League ... played four seasons of varsity hockey at Roxbury Latin before graduating in 2009.
AS A SENIOR (2014-15): Played in and started three games ... posted a 2-1 record ... recorded a 2.69 goals against average and a .925 save percentage ... all three contests played in non-conference ... earned first-career start against Harvard (11/14) ... notched first-career victory with 22 stops against Brown at the Ledyard Classic (1/2) ... set a career best with 23 saves and gained his second-consecutive victory to help the Eagles clinch the Ledyard Classic Tournament with a triumph over Dartmouth (1/3).
AS A JUNIOR (2013-14):Played in four games ... recorded a 2.22 goals against average and a .931 save percentage (27-of-29) ... stopped five shots in a 9-2 win against Wisconsin (10/18), marking his second-career showing in net for the Eagles...stopped a career-best 15 shots in 18:27 minutes of work to help combine for the shutout against Army (11/10)...turned aside seven shots in the third period at Maine (11/23)...played 6:52 against Penn State (12/28).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13):Saw action in one game ... made his collegiate debut and played the game's final 14:20 of a 5-1 home loss to Providence (3/2); recorded three saves.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12):Did not see any game action.
BEFORE BC:Earned team MVP honors after recording an 18-11-5 record in 37 regular-season games as a goalie for the South Shore Kings in 2010-11 ... finished with a 3.25 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage ... posted a 1.71 goals-against average and .925 save percentage in five playoff games ... also played 37 games in 2009-10, registering a 20-4-2 record, a 2.58 goals-against average and a .931 save percentage ... played for Kings head coach Scott Harlow, a former BC hockey star and a member of BC's Varsity Club Hall of Fame ... as a senior at Roxbury Latin, he captured Boston Globe All-Scholastic (ISL) honors in 2008-09; also gained All-New England, Independent School League MVP and All-ISL accolades after totaling a 1.90 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage ... played for head coach Mo Randall.
PERSONAL: Enrolled as an economics major in the College of Arts & Sciences ... earned 2012-13 Hockey East All-Academic Team honors ... Brad is the oldest of Stacey and Ted Barone's three children; his dad graduated from BC, while his mom earned her doctorate from BC and now teaches in the Connell School of Nursing.
