HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Associated Press Class B All-State honors in 2012 ... notched 69 tackles, six tackles for a loss, two sacks, three pass breakups up and two forced fumbles during his junior season … missed the 2013 season because of injury … Served as team captain – along with Boston College teammates Austin Chapman and Sam Schmal – as a senior tight end/tackle/defensive end at Westminster … played for head coach Gerry Romberg … also excelled in track … was the Georgia state runner-up in the 100-meter hurdles as a freshman and helped lead the team to a state title as a senior.
