Made 10 appearances out of the bullpen before an injury shortened his season ... had a 6.10 ERA in 10.1 innings of work ... allowed seven runs on 10 hits, walked six and struck out three ... threw 1.1 innings of no-hit ball against Massachusetts (4/13) and then did the same in an inning versus Bryant (4/7) ... retired the only two batters faced against Duke (3/27) ... walked two but did not give up a hit in an inning at Connecticut (3/16) ... threw 2.0 innings and allowed a hit in first appearance at Tulane (2/21) ... recipient of the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Selected the Most Valuable Player in Division I-South and was all-state honoree as a senior ... finished the season with a .458 batting average ... scored 34 runs and stole 29 bases without getting thrown out ... registered 61 strikeouts in 38 innings on the mound ... also an all-state basketball player and was named Gatorade Player of the Year ... member of the National Honor Society and the Foreign Language Honor Society.
