Volleyball Concludes Non-Conference Slate at Dartmouth Invitational

Eagles will have rematch against Quinnipiac, also taking on Binghamton and Dartmouth
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College Volleyball team is set to close out its non-conference schedule this weekend, as they travel to Hanover, N.H. to participate in the Dartmouth Invitational from September 18-20. At the tournament, the Eagles will have a rematch against Quinnipiac, as well as contests against Binghamton and Dartmouth.

QuinnipiacÂ
The Eagles will face Quinnipiac for the eighth time in program history on Sept. 18. Boston College owns a 7-0 all-time record against the Bobcats, with all seven victories coming by way of a sweep. BC most recently defeated Quinnipiac, 3-0, on Aug. 30, 2026, at the Chestnut Hill Invite.

Quinnipiac enters the Dartmouth Invitational with a 1-7 record after facing a challenging non-conference schedule to open the 2026 season. The Bobcats earned their lone win against Sacred Heart before dropping three matches at the Leopard Invitational last weekend, falling to Penn, Lafayette and Rhode Island.

Binghamton
Boston College will meet Binghamton for the sixth time in program history on Sept. 19. The Eagles hold a 3-2 all-time record against the Bearcats, with BC claiming the most recent victory, a 3-0 decision in 2013. Binghamton earned a win in the teams' most recent meeting in 2024.

Binghamton enters the Dartmouth Invitational at 6-3 after putting together a strong stretch of play to open September. The Bearcats have won six consecutive matches, including a perfect 3-0 weekend at the Bearcat Classic, where they swept New Haven in the finale after earning five-set victories over Bryant and Stonehill.

The Eagles will square off with Dartmouth for the 13th time in program history on Sept. 20. Boston College holds a 9-3 all-time record against the Big Green and has won seven consecutive meetings. BC earned a 3-0 victory in the teams' most recent matchup on Sept. 13, 2025.

Dartmouth enters its home tournament with a 3-3 record after splitting its first six matches of the 2026 season. The Big Green opened the year with wins over Canisius and UAlbany before falling to Buffalo, Northeastern and Colgate.

In 26 sets, Boston College ranks third in service aces (1.77/set), fourth in hitting percentage (.274), and sixth in blocks (2.46/set).

Individually, Audrey Ross ranks second in third per set (4.38) and points per set (5.08), while Brooklyn Yelland (0.56) and Sofija Marjanovic (0.48) rank fourth and sixth in the ACC in service aces per set.

Carrie Yerty Classic Recap
Boston College went 2-0 at the Carrie Yerty Classic in Memphis, improving to 7-1 overall on the season. Audrey Ross reached 1,000 career kills against Memphis, finishing the match with 13 kills and a career-high four service aces. Sam Hoppes led BC with 14 kills against Memphis while hitting .458. As a team, BC posted a season-best 10 service aces in the win over Memphis and finished the weekend with 16 total aces.

Against Alcorn State, Isabelle Poehlein made her first start of the season, recording eight kills, while Lucie Vesela contributed 14 assists and two aces on her birthday.
