Segalla Breaks Facility Record at Duke Twilight

DURHAM, N.C. – Sydney Segalla claimed a facility record and New England record in the 400m, as the Boston College Women's Track & Field team competed at the Duke Twilight Sunday. The team also added multiple top 10 program marks.

- In the javelin throw, Emily Rohan claimed eighth place after recording a mark of 39.57.
- Erin Finley recorded a jump of 5.40m in the women's long jump, earning a top 25 finish.
- Segalla, who improved on her 400m school record two weeks prior, followed with a blistering time of 50.80 to win the event. It also marked a personal best and ranks eighth in the NCAA.
- Anna Sonsini, Anna Becker, and Gina Certo also competed in the 400m. Sonsini led the trio in 12th place with a time of 55.20, while Becker ran 55.28 for 15th and Certo took 18th at 55.52.
- Ava Carter and Certo earned personal bests in the 200m. Carter finished in 24th place with a time of 24.33, with Certo claiming 27th place with a 24.39. Those times rank fourth and fifth all-time in program history.
- In the 100m, Carter ran a 12.23 to earn a top 30 finish.
- Iris Bergman finished in 27th place with a time of 2:08.70. Kyla Palmer crossed the line one place behind, setting a personal best of 2:09.22
- Gabrielle Hamel recorded a personal best time of 17:14.02 in the 5000m for 14th place, with Maeve Casey taking 17th place and a 17:26.24 mark.
- Natalie Millerova set a personal best of 4:16.11 to finish tenth in the 1500m. Claire Crowley was next, running a 4:28.75, and Kayla Schramm followed with a time of 4:42.37. Millerova's time ranks seventh all time.
