Eagles kick off with 1500m and 10,000m Thursday evening
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Women's Track and Field is slated to compete in the 2026 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held in Louisville's Cardinal from May 14-16. All action can be streamed on ACCNX and ESPN+.
Â
11 Eagles will compete across five events in this year's championships. Duke, this year's hosts, Louisville, and Clemson, are among the favorites, ranking No. 17, No. 20, and No. 23 in the USTFCCCA heading into championship weekend.
Â
Action will begin on Thursday, May 14, at 5:00 p.m. Imogen Gardiner, Natalie Millerova, and Claire Crowley will race in the 1500m prelim, aiming to qualify for Saturday's 1500m Final. Ella Fadil will also race Thursday evening, competing in the 10,000m Final.
Â
Podium finishers in each event and the top relay team will earn an All-ACC First Team distinction, while the athletes who finish fourth through sixth in each event and the second and third place relay team will be honored as second team.
Â
Gardiner headlines the group, remaining in the top 48 of the NCAA East Region for the 1500m and 5000m. She opened her outdoor season at the Bryan Clay Invitational, running a school record time of 4:10.77 in the 1500m, followed by the second fastest 5000m in program history at Penn Relays. Both of her times rank in the top 10 in the ACC and the East Region.
Â
Additionally, Sydney Segalla looks to sweep the 400m at ACC's. After claiming the 400m title at the ACC Indoor Championships and Second Team All-American honors, she added to her remarkable track & field season with a New England and school record in the 400m at the Duke Twilight. Her time of 50.80 is nearly four seconds faster than the next-closest racer and ranks her first in the ACC, fourth in the East Region, and eighth in the NCAA. She will compete in the 400m prelims on Friday, May 15.
