BC ties program mark for regular season wins while winning the most ACC games in program history

BRIGHTON, Mass. - No. 23 Boston College baseball (36-20, 17-13) dropped the regular season finale to No. 3 Georgia Tech (45-9, 25-5) on Saturday afternoon, falling by a score of 15-2. The Eagles set a new attendance record with 2,828 fans at Harrington Athletics Village and cap off the greatest regular season in program history, tying the regular season wins record with 36 and a program-best 17-13 ACC record.

The Yellow Jackets jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning.

Kyle Wolff opened the scoring for the Eagles in the bottom half of the first inning, sending two runners across the plate after hitting a bases-loaded double down the left field line.

Georgia Tech scored 10-straight runs to take a 15-2 lead after the seventh.

Up Next: The ACC Tournament awaits the Eagles next week at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina, beginning with the first round on Tuesday, May 19. Final seedings will not be determined until after the remaining ACC games on Saturday.
