Mateo Bianchi Earns All-ACC Second Team Honors at ACC Outdoor Championships

Extends his personal best and school record time in the 3000m steeplechase
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Mateo Bianchi earned the first medal for Boston College Men's Track and Field as he earned All-ACC Second Team honors in the 3000m steeplechase Friday evening.

- Bianchi competed in the front half of the field throughout the race, pushing on the final lap to cross the line in sixth place and earn the final All-ACC spot. He recorded a personal-best time of 8:49.94, extending his school record in the event and placing him in the Top 48 of the NCAA East Region.
- Cruz Brown recorded a personal-best time of 1:49.48 in the 800m prelim, finishing 17th place overall. Owen Pett also competed, recording a time of 1:50.94.
