Peattie Qualifies for 1500m Final After Day One of ACC's

Records a personal best and fourth fastest time in program history
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Colin Peattie earned a spot in Saturday's 1500m Final, as he and the Boston College Men's Track and Field competed in the first day of the ACC Outdoor Championships, held at Cardinal Park.
ACC Outdoor Championships
- Peattie battled up front throughout his heat, crossing the line in fifth place with a time of 3:41.17. That mark qualified the Los Gatos, Calif., Native on time, also setting a personal best and the fourth-fastest time in program history.
- He will race the 1500m final at 4:20 p.m. Saturday, and look to become the first athlete since Steven Jackson to earn all-conference honors.
Next Up: The Eagles continue championship action tomorrow evening, as Cruz Brown and Owen Pett compete in the 800m prelim, and Mateo Bianchi and Aidan Brancaccio race in the 3000m steeplechase.
