Colarusso struck out eight batters
BRIGHTON, Mass. -Â No. 23 Boston College baseball (36-18, 17-11) fell to No. 3 Georgia Tech (43-9, 23-5) by a score of 9-0 on Thursday evening.

A.J. Colarusso tied his season-high with eight strikeouts.
Â
Parker Brosius hit two home runs for the Yellow Jackets, while Vahn Lackey and Alex Hernandez each hit one home run.

The Eagles put runners on second and third in the bottom of the fifth, but Georgia Tech got out of the jam to keep BC off the board.

With his two first inning strikeouts, Colarusso moved into eighth all-time in program history for strikeouts with 196.
