Salem, Va. - The Boston College softball team (9-15) ended the Hokie Invitational with a 13-0 victory over Bryant and a close 3-2 loss to Radford on Saturday afternoon.

Game 1 - BC 13 | BRY 0

The bats got started for the Eagles in the first inning and didn't stop. Emma Knight started the first inning the same way she finished last night's game, with a solo home run over the left field fence.

Knight came up again in the top of the fourth and doubled to left field. Abby Ptak followed with a single of her own, and Meghan Schouten added another hit to bring in a run and keep the inning going.

The Eagles kept the momentum going in the fifth inning that included four hits for five runs, highlighted by a three run shot from Schouten.

The Eagles held onto the lead with Emily Van Cleef in the circle for all six innings. Van Cleef only allowed three hits all game and recorded four strikeouts that led Boston College to a 13-0 win.

Game 2 - BC 2 | RU 3

Radford took an early 3-0 lead after three innings before BC would jump on the board in the bottom of the fourth.

Sammy Horn slapped one down the left field line for a base hit to start the bottom of the fourth. Knight took her second of the day over the left center fence to score both of them to cut the lead to 3-2.

BC defense played tight through the rest of the game highlighted by back-to-back strikeouts from Bailey Kendziorski in the sixth but Radford would hold their lead and take the game 3-2.
