Drew Fortescue Signs Entry-Level Contract with New York Rangers

Fortescue signs his first professional contract with the New York Rangers
NEW YORK – Boston College junior defenseman Drew Fortescue has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the National Hockey League's (NHL) New York Rangers, as announced by the organization on Saturday evening.
Fortescue was selected in the third round, 90th overall, by the Rangers in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
In 2025-26, the junior was second amongst defensemen on the Eagles in goals (4), and third in assists (10) and points (14).
The Pearl River, New York native skated in 112 games across three seasons on the Heights and totaled 33 points (8G-25A). During the 2024-25 season, he notched a career high 11 assists and a plus-28 rating, tied for seventh among all NCAA skaters and ranked second on Boston College.
Fortescue won back-to-back gold medals with the United States at the IIHF World Junior Championship in 2024 and 2025.
