Men's Golf Grabs Top Five Finish at Surf Club Invitational

Finished top five overall in par 5’s (-20), eagles (3), and birdies (55)

N. MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Boston College Men's Golf team finished action at the Surf Club Invitational, hosted by Appalachian State, Tuesday afternoon, finishing at 14-under par for fourth place. The team finished top five overall in par 5's (-20), eagles (3), and birdies (55).

Freshman Tony Yin (-7) had a stellar final round, logging five birdies to finished with a round score of 67 and place him in tie for 10^th.

Next were junior Markus Lam and senior Jack Pogorelc (-5), who continued their strong play from yesterday to finished both at 5-under par, sharing a tie for 14^th place. Lam matched a team round-high of five birdies, while Pogorelc recorded just two bogeys in the final round of play.

Behind them was sophomore Tommy Mangan (+4) who shot a 74 in the final round to finish tied for 58th place, and freshman Connor Chisum (+14) rounding out the BC lineup.
