CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Boston College was unable to tie the season series against Miami on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 76-54 decision on the road. Boden Kapke led all scorers with 18 points – his third consecutive game reaching double figures.

- Kapke got Boston College on the board first, netting a three-point jumper off a setup from Luka Toews.
- The Eagles turned the opening strike into an early 8-2 run following back-to-back baskets from Kapke and Fred Payne.
- Coming out of the first media timeout, Miami sparked an 11-2 run to take its first lead of the game with 11:05 remaining.
- Jayden Hastings finished at the rim off a lob from Payne to tie the game at 17-17
- Miami built a series of turnovers into a 19-2 run in the final eight minutes of play as the Eagles went into halftime trailing 36-19.
- The Eagles opened the second half on a 6-2 run off baskets from Kapke, Hastings, and Payne.
- Hastings would trade back-to-back baskets with Miami following the under-16 media timeout.
- Three-pointers by Caleb Steger and Donald Hand Jr. were immediately answered with a trio of Miami triples, as a dunk by Aidan Shaw made it a 64-43 tally with 7:03 left.
- BC was unable to build upon any momentum swings, as the Hurricanes closed out the game with a 76-54 final score.
- Boden Kapke led all scorers with 18 points, his third-straight game scoring double figures.
- Fred Payne (11) and Jayden Hastings (11) also added double-digit performances.
- Boston College falls to 3-13 in ACC play and 10-19 in the regular season
- The Eagles' all-time series record against Miami is now 31-31
- Boston College stays on the road to take on Virginia Tech on March 3.
