Pett and Bianchi Earn Finals Bids at Day Two of ACC Indoors

Eagles set to compete in four finals tomorrow afternoon
BOSTON, Mass. – The Boston College Men's Track & Field found a spark on the second day of the ACC Indoor Championships, punching finals bids in the mile and 800m Friday evening.

ACC Indoor Championships – Day Two
- Mateo Bianchi used a last-lap kick to earn the final qualification spot for the mile finals, finishing with a time of 4:01.15. He's the first Eagle to qualify for the men's final since Steven Jackson in 2024. Colin Peattie (4:11.10) and Jack Higgins (4:15.88) also competed.
- Owen Pett rose to the occasion in the third heat, crossing the line in first with a time of 1:49.97 to automatically qualify for tomorrow's final.
