- Bella Abbott attended Mount Paran Christian as well and was a back-to-back MVP for her team.Â
Four Land on Tewaaraton Watch List
Shea Dolce, Shea Baker, Lydia Colasante and Marissa White represent BC on the first list of the season.It's the second straight season Baker and Colasante were named to the list, while it's the second time for White. Dolce was one of the five finalists last season for lacrosse's preeminent award, given to the nation's top lacrosse player.
Community MVP
-Â Michaela O'Connor was recognized as a 2025 Food Lion Community MVP by the ACC.Â
-Â The Food Lion Community MVP honors student-athletes that demonstrate outstanding skills in coordinating and motivating community-based initiatives to improve our local towns and cities. Forty ACC student-athletes were honored in total.Â
- Michaela O'Connor's commitment to community engagement sets the standard for her program and the athletics department. As her team's community-service chair, she leads initiatives such as the campuswide Red Bandanna 5K, their Team IMPACT partnership, and volunteer efforts with Cradles to Crayons and Morgan's Message. Her leadership earned her a nomination for the Welles Crowther Fellowship.
-Â The Boston College women's lacrosse team reflects this service-driven culture, contributing 2,102 service hours last year, which ranked No. 1 nationally among lacrosse programs, and generating $69,353 in economic impact across 24 organizations.
Baker leads ACC Excellence Award List
Shea Baker was named to the ACC Excellence Award List, while she was one of four BC representatives to be recognized by the conference. The league recognized over 60 exceptional student-athletes, including 32 selected as 2026 Weaver-James-Corrigan-Swofford Postgraduate Scholarship recipients, three of whom will also receive the prestigious Jim & Pat Thacker Scholarship Award. Student-athletes nominated for the ACC Excellence Award are also eligible for the ACC Postgraduate Scholarship.
Scouting Michigan
- The Wolverines are 2-1 to start the season, boasting wins against South Florida and a recent win over then-No. 5 Florida.Â
- Calli Norse led the team with three goals in the win over the Gators. Ceci Stein, Emma Bradbury and Brynne Grant each scored twice.Â
- Elizabeth Johnson netted six saves in the net.Â
- Bradbury leads the team with nine goals, four assists and 13 points.Â
- Norris also has seven goals and eight points.
- Johnson has started in all three games in the cage, posting a .444 save percentage with 24 saves and a .444 save percentage.Â
Series History
- BC is 1-0 in the all-time series, recording a 14-9 win in the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2024.Â
- Rachel Clark led the team with four goals, and Kayla Martello netted a hat trick with three scores.Â
- Shea Dolce made nine saves in the win.Â
