BC looks to pick up a crucial six points in the league standings
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 14 Boston College men's hockey team returns to Hockey East play with a home-and-home series against Merrimack this week. The teams face off at Lawler Arena on Friday evening before a Saturday night matchup at Kelley Rink. Both games are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+ and heard on WEEI 850 AM.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The Eagles are 16-9-1 overall and 10-6-0 in Hockey East
• The Warriors are 14-12-1 overall and 7-9-1 in league play
• BC is ranked No. 14 in both the USCHO.com and USA Hockey national polls

• Boston College won its 21st Beanpot on Monday and first since 2016
• The Eagles defeated Boston University 6-2 in the 300th Battle of Comm Ave
• Ryan Conmy led the way with a career-high four assists
• Lukas Gustafsson finished with three points on one goal and two assists

• The Warriors are 4-0-1 in their last five games and are coming off a 9-5 victory over Stonehill in their last outing on Feb. 3
• Trevor Hoskin leads Merrimack in assists (19) and points (27)
• Justin Gill and Nick Pierre are tied for the team lead in goals with 11
• Parker Lalonde is second in both goals (9) and assists (15)
• Max Lundgren has started all 27 games in goal for Merrimack and boasts a .918 save percentage and a 2.54 goals against average
