BC and BU to meet at Agganis Arena on Friday
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 13/14 Boston College men's hockey team travels to Agganis Arena on Friday evening to take on Boston University in the 299th edition of the Battle of Comm Ave. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and the game will be available to watch on NESN and ESPN+ and can be heard on WEEI 850 AM.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The Eagles are 13-8-1 overall and 9-5-0 in Hockey East
• The Terriers are 12-12-1 overall and 8-9-0 in league play
• BC is ranked No. 13 in the USCHO.com poll and No. 14 in the USA Hockey poll
WEEKEND SWEEP OVER UNH
• Boston College bounced back with a weekend sweep over UNH, picking up a 5-2 win at home and a 3-0 victory on the road
• On Friday, Dean Letourneau finished with a game-high three points on two goals and one assist
• Andre Gasseau, James Hagens, and Jake Sondreal each scored a goal
• On Saturday, Will Vote scored his first career hat trick, becoming the first BC player to score a natural hat trick since the 2018 season
• Louka Cloutier made 29 saves on Saturday to pick up his third shutout of the season
