Eagles Take On Fighting Irish in ACC Road Contest

BC looks to improve to 3-4 in conference play
CHESTNUT HILL, MASS - Boston College looks for its third straight ACC victory this weekend, taking on Notre Dame at Purcell Pavilion on Saturday, January 24. The game can be seen on ACCN and heard on WEEI 850.
BOSTON COLLEGE VS. NOTRE DAME - ALL-TIME SERIES
• Wednesday marks the 47th overall meeting between the Eagles and Fighting Irish.
• Notre Dame holds a 17-29 all-time series lead.
• BC's most recent encounter with Notre Dame occurred on Feb. 12, 2025, where the Fighting Irish took a 97-94 OT2 win at Conte Forum.
• The Eagles have won six of the last 10 matchups.
LAST TIME OUT
• Boston College won its second-straight conference game, besting Pitt, 65-62, at Conte Forum.
• Boden Kapke had a career-high 19 points; including the eventual game-winning three in the final seconds of regulation.

• The redshirt-sophomore surpassed his total points tally (171) from last season in the first 15 games of the 2025-26 campaign.
• Defensively, the redshirt-sophomore has recorded more steals (+4) and blocks (+3) through 19 games this season compared to his 2024-25 totals.
• Using the PAR/G metric (points+assists+rebounds/game), Payne has jumped +10.8 year-over-year.
CLOSING THE DOOR, TURNING THE CORNER
• In two consecutive games, the Eagles have emerged victorious in thrilling fashion; out-scoring their opponents 15-2 in the final three minutes of regulation.
• BC went on a 9-2 run to force overtime vs. Syracuse, followed by a 17-9 score differential in overtime to win 81-73.
• Trailing by three with 2:56 remaining against Pitt, the Eagles hit back-to-back threes to win the game off a six-point swing.
• Prior to the Syracuse win, Boston College had suffered eight losses (three ACC, three in overtime, two in regulation) where

• Sandra Edgerley serves on the Boston College Board of Trustees, where she is a member of the Academic Affairs Committee. Paul Edgerley is a senior advisor at Bain Capital, where he was a managing director and played a leadership
role for more than 30 years.
• The court is a lasting symbol of the Edgerleys' commitment to enhancing the tradition of excellence at Boston College.
