ACC/SEC Challenge Matchup Announced - BC Travels to Georgia

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College will face Georgia as part of the fourth annual ACC/SEC Challenge, it was announced today by ESPN. The Eagles and Bulldogs will face off on Tuesday, December 1. It will mark the second time the Eagles and Bulldogs will meet on the hardwood.
The ACC/SEC Challenge will feature games across the ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network, and SEC Networks. Coverage details, including platform designations and commentator information, as well as tip time will be announced at a later date.
Boston College is 1-2 all-time in the challenge series between the two power conferences. Last season, BC dropped a home matchup with LSU on Dec. 3, 2025. In the inaugural challenge, the Eagles earned a win at Vanderbilt on Nov. 29, 2023.
BC holds a 13-14 record vs. teams currently in the SEC: Auburn (2-2); Florida (0-3); Georgia (1-0); LSU (0-1); South Carolina (2-2); Tennessee (2-1); Texas (0-1); Texas A&M (1-0); Vanderbilt (5-4).Â

Boston College's first encounter with Georgia occurred on December 26, 1968 which resulted in the Eagles capturing an 89-83 victory at home.
