
Eagles Travel to No. 3 Minnesota for Season Opener

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's hockey team begins the season this week with a trip to Minneapolis, Minnesota to face the University of Minnesota on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 p.m. Both games will stream live on B1G+.Â
Boston College enters the 2025-26 season with eight newcomers to a roster of 24 players, including six freshmen and two transfers.
CAPTAIN O' CAPTAINÂ
• Senior defenseman Jade Arnone and senior goaltender Grace Campbell were elected to serve as captains of the Eagles.Â
• In 2024-25, Campbell finished the season with a career-best .930 save percentage. She was also awarded the Hockey East Three-Stars award.Â
• Arnone wrapped up the 2024-25 campaign with seven points coming from two goals and five assists.Â
THE RETURNERS
• The Eagles return 16 players from last year's team, including Sammy Taber, a Hockey East All-Star.Â
• Olivia Maffeo and Lauren Glaser earned Hockey East All-Rookie nods. Maffeo finished the season with 10 points off four goals and six assists. While Glaser wrapped up her freshman campaign with 17 points, she lit the lamp six times and dished out 11 assists.Â

• Abbey Murphy is the returning team leader in points. Last season, she recorded 65 points off 33 goals and 32 assists.Â
