Jeremiah Franklin Named to 2025 John Mackey Award Watchlist

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Eagles' tight end Jeremiah Franklin was named to the 2025 John Mackey Award Preseason Watchlist.

As a junior in 2024, Franklin played in all 13 games, making eight starts and totaling 27 catches for 311 yards and three touchdowns. His 27 catches ranked third best on the team last season.

In 2023, Franklin played in all 13 games with seven starts, registering 12 catches for 166 yards and a touchdown. As a true freshman in 2022, he played in nine games with two starts, finishing with five receptions for 27 yards.

The John Mackey Award was created in 2000 by the Nassau County Sports Commission. The award is presented annually to the best tight end in college football, honoring the legacy of NFL Hall of Fame tight end, John Mackey.

The recipient of the 2025 John Mackey Award will be announced live on The Home Depot College Football Awards show on December 12, 2025.
