The Eagles return on Tuesday for the Battle of Commonwealth Avenue
BRIGHTON, Mass. – Boston College Softball (17-18, 3-9 ACC) fell to the Villanova Wildcats (18-17-1) by a score of 11-2 on Sunday afternoon at the Harrington Athletics Village.
The visitors jumped out to an early 2-0 lead behind a two-run home run and would add another in the top of the third on another home run. In the bottom of the inning, Gator Robinson hit her first home run, a solo shot over the left field fence to make things 3-1.Â
The Wildcats added runs in the fifth, sixth, and seventh inning, before Zoe Hines drove in the Eagles' second run with a solo home run, her third of the season, and second in the last two games.Â
On deck: The Eagles host cross-town rival Boston University in the battle of Commonwealth Avenue on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
