Track & Field Continues Season with Busy Weekend Ahead

The Eagles will compete in three meets over the span of April 17-19
WINSTON SALEM, N.C. – Boston College Track & Field is set to compete in three meets over the span of Thursday, April 17 and Saturday, April 19. The Eagles will participate at the Wake Forest Invitational on Thursday and Friday, while also competing at the Virginia Challenge and the Sean Collier Invitational on Friday and Saturday.Â
Wake Forest Invitational

The Eagles will be sending 20 athletes to compete at the Wake Forest Invitational, which will be held at Kentner Stadium on Thursday, April 17 and Friday, April 18 on the campus of Wake Forest University.Â
During the first day of the meet, Boston College will have six athletes compete across three running events, while Emily Rohan will be the lone Eagle taking part in field events as she competes in the Women's Javelin Throw. Day one is set to begin at 2 p.m. with the javelin throws, and will wrap up with the Men's 10,000m at 9:40 p.m.
Day 2 of the Wake Forest Invitational will consist of 12 running events, with 13 Eagles competing throughout the day. Competition for BC will begin at 12:05 p.m. with the Women's 3,000m steeplechase, and the final day will wrap up with Men's 5,000m competition. Â

Anna Becker, Kylee Bernard, and Anna Sonsini will race in the Women's 400m competition on Saturday, while Colin Kravitz and Max McQuide will compete in the Men's 400m on Saturday.Â
The meet will be available to stream each day via ACCNX.Â

Boston College will compete in three events on Friday night, as well as 13 events on Saturday. Competition is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night and 10 a.m. on Saturday morning.Â
