BC Places 12th at Maridoe Collegiate

CARROLTON, Texas -- Boston College placed 12th at the Maridoe Collegiate. The Eagles finished with a team total score of 916 for the three-round, 54-hole competition, posting single-round scores of 300 and 303 on Monday and 311 during Tuesday's final round.

Markus Lam led the way for Boston College, tying for 22nd place (224). Lam posted an opening round 73 before carding a 74 during the afternoon session on Monday. He closed the tournament with a third round 77 on Tuesday. He finished with 10 birdies over the three rounds.

Ben Hong had his best round of the tournament on Tuesday, shooting a 2-over 74. On Monday, Hong opened with a 75 and finished with a second round 79. He tied for 36th place (228).

Jack Pogorelc tied for 42nd place (230), registering scores of 77-77-76 for the three rounds of competition. Tommy Mangan finished in a tie for 69th place (237). His best score was a second round 75. Brian Xu tied for 74th (75-79-86=240).
