
Eagles Earn Convincing 16-3 Win Over Dartmouth

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College continues its dominant run with a 16-3 win over Dartmouth in a Tuesday matinee at Newton Field.
The Eagles captured their 15th straight game dating back to last season, while improving to 7-0. Dartmouth records their first loss of the year. Also highlighting the win was victory No. 200 at BC for head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein.
Shea Dolce dominated the cage with a career-high 16 saves and .842 save percentage, giving the junior 27 saves in a two-game span.
Devon Russell paced the Eagles' defense with a personal-high four caused turnovers, tallied two ground balls and one goal. Shea Baker registered two caused turnovers, three ground balls and two draw controls.
It was a stellar start for BC on both sides of the field, as the defense held Dartmouth scoreless until 24 seconds left in the third quarter.
The offense scored the first 13 goals of the game led by six different Eagles. BC went into the half with a 9-0 edge after Emma LoPinto scored back-to-back goals.
BC went up by as much as 15 late in the game after Giulia Colarusso found the back of the net before Dartmouth scored the final two goals of the game.
The trio of Rachel Clark, Mckenna Davis and LoPinto combined for 10 goals and six assists, while the six points (4 goals, 2 assists) was a season high for Davis. Clark and LoPinto finished with four goals and one assist, while nine Eagles tallied at least one goal in total.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday against Notre Dame at 11 a.m. in South Bend.
