Ezeiruaku and Horsley complete NFL Combine rituals on Thursday, Kendall and Trapilo on Sunday.
INDIANAPOLIS -- Four former Boston College football players recently completed the NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium over the last week. Defensive linemen Donovan Ezeiruaku and Cam Horsley took to the field for drills on Thursday and offensive linemen Drew Kendall and Ozzy Trapilo wrapped up the week's events on Sunday.
Ezeiruaku secured the top times in the 3-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle among all defensive ends. He completed the 3-cone in 6.94 seconds and shuttle in 4.19 seconds. Ezeiruaku, the reigning ACC Defensive Player of the Year, also logged the eighth best vertical jump by a defensive end at 35.50".
Boston College's two offensive linemen were among the top performers in several categories on Sunday with Kendall and Trapilo both cracking the top-10 in the 3-cone. Kendall's 7.56 seconds was fourth fastest by an offensive lineman and Trapilo's 7.71 was seventh. Kendall posted two more top-five scores with a 4.51 shuttle that ranked third among o-linemen and a 5.05 40-yard dash that ranked third.
Several mock drafts by media outlets across the country project Ezeiruaku as a late first-round pick. Overall, BC has had 224 NFL draft picks with 22 first-rounders. The Eagles' last first round pick was wide receiver Zay Flowers in 2023. Kendall's father Pete is one of BC's 22 first-round picks and one of 10Â offensive linemen as the Eagles share a claim to "O-Line U".
The 2025 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 24-26 from Lambeau Field and its adjacent Titletown District in Green Bay, Wis.
