Eagles Drop Game Two to NC State

BC plays the final game of the series tomorrow at 12 p.m.
BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Boston College softball team (11-14, 0-8 ACC) dropped game two of the series to NC State (20-11, 4-4) on Saturday afternoon at the Harrington Athletics Village.
Both teams were scoreless through the first inning, before the Wolfpack scored four in the second, behind two solo home runs and a two-RBI single. Zoe Hines got the Eagles' lone hit in the bottom of the second when she got on base with a single. The game would remain 4-0 until the top of the seventh when NC State hit another solo shot. The Eagles were unable to mount a comeback in the bottom of the inning, giving the Wolfpack the 5-0 victory.
On deck: BC finishes up the series against NC State tomorrow at 12 p.m. at the Harrington Athletics Village. Tomorrow's game is the Eagles4Equality game.
