Patrick Mulryan Runs Sub-4 Minute Mile at Terrier DMR Challenge

Track & Field ends indoor regular season at Terrier DMR Challenge on Friday night
BOSTON, Mass – Boston College Men's and Women's Track & Field wrapped up the indoor regular season as they competed at the Terrier DMR Challenge on Friday night at the BU Track & Tennis Center.
Patrick Mulryan became the second Boston College Eagle ever to run a sub-four minute mile, as he ran to a time of 3:58.81 on Friday night. Mulryan now sits at No. 2 all-time in BC history for the Men's mile.
Molly Hudson and Yasmine Abbes competed in the Women's Mile, while Aliyah Canty competed in the Women's 400m. Hudson raced to a time of 4:35.11 which was good for 7th place, while Abbes finished 9th with a time of 4:42.78. Canty finished first overall with her time of 58.53.
Cruz Brown crossed the finish line in third place with a time of 1:50.00 in the Men's 800m, while Jay Joyce finished eighth overall with his time of 1:53.41
Up next: The Eagles will travel to Louisville, Ky. for the 2025 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Championship meet will be held Mar. 1-3 and can be streamed via ACCNX.Â
