Jackson Takes Home Silver Medal as Men's Track & Field Competes at ACC Championship

Steven Jackson placed second the Men's Mile, while Men's DMR and 4x400m relays earn school records
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Boston College Men's Track & Field team competed at the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend of March 1-3 at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Ky. 
The Eagles finished 15th overall with 13 points. Virginia Tech won the Men's team championship with 82 points.
Saturday
BC started off day one of Indoor ACC Championships on the Men's side with the 200m prelims. Colin Kravitz finished third in heat 4 and 17th overall in the prelim event with his time of 21.61
The Men's Distance Medley Relay started off the weekend strong for BC, finishing fourth overall out of 12 teams. The relay team of Cruz Brown, Max McQuide, Patrick Mulryan, Owen Pett achieved a school record as they ran a time of 9:32.48.
Sunday
Steven Jackson started off day 2 of the championship meet in a big way, earning a spot into the Men's Mile Finals. Jackson cruised to a first place finish in heat three with his time of 4:04.75.
Max McQuide continued day 2 for the Eagles as he competed in the Men's 400m prelims. McQuide took third place in heat 7, and finished 10th overall with a time of 47.20.
Cruz Brown became the second Eagle on the Men's side to qualify for the finals as he took second place in heat four, and finished with a time of 1:50.76.
Monday
Steven Jackson led off day 3 of the championship weekend earning a silver medal in the Men's Mile finals, finishing with a time of 4:02.43. Jackson also earned first team All-ACC honors for his second place finish.
Cruz Brown finished ninth overall in the Men's 800m finals, crossing the finish line at 1:53.33.
Patrick Mulryan earned a time of 8:12.33 in the Men's 3000m finals, placing 35th overall.
The Men's 4x400m relay team of Colin Kravitz, Max McQuide, Max Deane, and Jay Joyce ended the weekend for the Eagles with a school record performance. The relay group placed 9th overall with a time of 3:12.15.
Up next: The Eagles will look to earn spots at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, which will be held March 14-15 in Virginia Beach, Va. Participants will be announced for this year's championships in a selection release on Tuesday, March 4.
